'Rush for Berlin' and 'Heart of Empire: Rome' Coming To North America

Paradox Interactive announced that they will be publishing the North American release of two titles from pan-European publisher Deep Silver, Rush for Berlin and Heart of Empire: Rome, both scheduled for Q2 2006.

First up is Rush for Berlin, a World War II real-time strategy game developed by Stormregion, who gained worldwide acclaim for their Codename: Panzers series. The title is scheduled for release in Q2 2006.

The second title, Heart of Empire: Rome, is a strategy and simulation game set in ancient Rome. Developed by Deep Red, who is currently developing Tycoon City: New York, Heart of Empire: Rome is also set for release in Q2 2006.

"This deal will not only enable us to supply the North American market with two great strategy titles created by two outstanding developers, but also strengthen our cooperation with one of Europe~Rs leading publishing houses," said Fredrik W. Lindgren, Director of Publishing at Paradox Interactive.

Paul Nicholls, International Sales Director of Deep Silver said, "Paradox Interactive knows the strategy market in North America and we are very excited about providing this opportunity for the North American gaming community to enjoy these titles".

Paradox Interactive is signing up a number of titles for their 2006 portfolio, all of which will be announced in the coming months.
