'Shining Tears' (PS2) Brightens Up Retail Stores

SEGA of America today announced the availability of its latest RPG Shining Tears on the PS2. Shining Tears is rated ‘T' for ‘Teen' and is available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $49.95.

Shining Tears is the new installment in SEGA's renowned Shining series, a franchise that has been popular with RPG enthusiasts for nearly 15 years. The title's action-oriented gameplay marks a dramatic departure for the series, though the familiar look and feel of the Shining world remains intact. Cooperative play is heavily emphasized here; two players can work together through the exclusive Link Battle System to unlock up to eight different endings. Solo players can progress through the title using a totally unique control scheme, which allows a single user to manage two characters simultaneously.
