'Graffiti Kingdom' (PS2) Goes Gold - Screens

by Rainier on June 17, 2005 @ 1:33 p.m. PDT

Dream it, Draw it, Play it! Soon players will be able to test their creative skills in one of the year's most unique and entertaining games as Graffiti Kingdom for the PlayStation 2 has officially gone gold. The game will be in retail stores nationwide on Thursday, July 28 with an MSRP of $29.99 and an ESRB Rating of "E" for Everyone.

Graffiti Kingdom is an Action / RPG like no other. The story begins when an ancient evil is awakened and corrupts the world. Players take on the role of Prince Pixel, a young prince who has the ability to transform into anything players can draw, and embark on an epic adventure to return the kingdom back to normal.

The game supports groundbreaking technology that helped the highly acclaimed Japanese version (released in 2004) secure a nomination for "Game of the Year" by the prestigious Media Arts. Unlike any other game, Graffiti Kingdom features highly intuitive, yet sophisticated drawing tools that allow players to literally draw their own characters -- the only limits are that of the imagination! Play as or modify over 220 fully customizable characters... or create your own from scratch! Once you save the day, feel free to trade characters with your friends or battle against them in 2 Player Mode.

Helping to kick things off, the official Graffiti Kingdom web site has gone live and is available at http://www.hotb.com/graffitikingdom. The site contains new product information, screens, art, videos, and helpful hints.

Graffiti Kingdom was developed by TAITO Japan and is being published by HOT-B.
