'Armored Core: Nine Breaker' (PS2) Blasts Its Way To Stores

Agetec today announced that Armored Core: Nine Breaker for the PS2 has hit North American retail locations. A fast paced action/strategy game of power and combat, Armored Core: Nine Breaker ets players put their mercenary skills to the ultimate test and strive to become the greatest AC warrior ever.

The newest version of the famed FromSoftware "Armored Core" series, "Armored Core: Nine Breaker" allows players to customize their "Core Units" with a virtually unlimited supply of options, parts and artillery. They can then find out what they're really made of first in the hard-core training mode that has over 150 skill-boosting missions and then finally by facing their enemies in arena combat, where they can choose from 20+ battle arenas to shoot, kill and destroy.

The Training mode of "Armored Core: Nine Breaker" includes several broad categories of testing programs including Attack, Defense, Movement, Technique, Special and Overall. Each of these categories includes a series of fun tests that users can progress through. In all, a total of 150 different tests are offered.
