New Publisher Lighthouse Signs Agreement With Frogster

Dutch publisher Lighthouse Interactive today announced that it has signed a long term distribution deal with Berlin based games distributor Frogster Interactive Pictures. First collaborative project is bringing Keepsake to the German market.

Lighthouse CEO Erik Schreuder stated: "We are extremely excited to be working with Frogster, they have a great team and the market strength we were looking for. We look forward to building both our brand and games together in the German markets for a long time to come."

The initial phase of the deal will see Frogster distributing a fully localized German version of the much anticipated PC adventure game "Keepsake", developed by Wicked Studios. Keepsake allows players to take an incredible adventure through the mystical halls of Dragonvale Academy, the greatest school of Magic known in the Old World. Set in this medieval world of fantasy and mystery, Keepsake tells the story of Lydia as she searches for her missing friend. Starting on the first day at the magic school, Lydia finds the halls empty and her friend nowhere to be found, the only trace is a keepsake she gave her some 8 years ago. The game is set for release in Germany, Austria and the German speaking part of Switzerland during the first half of November 2005.

Frogster CMO Dirk Weyel says: "We already had an eye on Keepsake for quite a while because we are convinced that the game offers great potential for German adventure gamers. The people at Lighthouse have a feeling for good games and a lot of experience, that"s why we look forward to a successful partnership".

Looking at 2006, both companies expect to bring to market at least 5 PC titles to German speaking gamers. Lighthouse will be making further announcements regarding its line-up for 2006 in the coming weeks and months.
