'Eragon' - English Demo Available NOW

Eragon is an epic fantasy-adventure which centers on a young farm boy named Eragon whose destiny is revealed with the help of a dragon. Based on the upcoming movie, Eragon, now a Dragon Rider, is swept into a world of magic and power, discovering that he alone has the power to save -- or destroy -- an Empire.

I: INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Double-click on the eragon_demo_en.exe file and follow the on-screen instructions to install this demo.

II: DIRECTX

DirectX 9.0c or higher is required in order to run this demo. If you do not already have it installed on your computer, you can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.mspx.

III: RUNNING THE GAME

When the Eragon PC Demo is installed, there is a short cut placed in the Windows Start Menu if you selected that option during install. Click on the "Eragon Demo" shortcut to begin the game.

IV: MACHINE SPECS

Operating system: Windows 2000/XP (Windows x64 NOT supported)
DirectX: 9.0c, or higher
CPU: 1.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD Athlon™ or faster processor
RAM: 512 MB RAM or more
Hard drive: 270 MB of free drive space, or more
Optical drive: CD-ROM
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce, ATI Radeon, or equivalent DirectX 9.0c-compliant, 128 MB 3D video card with Hardware Transform and Lighting capability and pixel shader support
Audio card: DirectX 9-compatible audio card
Mouse: Windows compatible mouse
Keyboard: Windows compatible keyboard
Gamepad: Windows-compatible USB gamepad with eleven buttons and dual analog sticks (Recommended)

V: CHARACTER CONTROLS (GAMEPAD)

Any DirectX or Xbox 360™ compatible joystick, with at least an analog stick and eleven buttons, will work.
