'Football Manager 2006' (X360) Requires Hard Drive

by Rainier on Feb. 7, 2006 @ 8:09 p.m. PST

Football Manager 2006 is a comprehensive soccer management simulation offering a host of new features, including the ability for managers to negotiate with their board of directors - not only for a better contract for themselves, but also for improved player wage budgets and increased transfer budgets or even stadium expansion. Be aware though, if you push too hard and don't reach the heights that the board specifies, you'll soon be looking for a new job.
The Core / Premium Xbox 360 controversy seems to be taking a new turn as a boxcover for Sports Interactive's upcoming Football Manager 2006 reveals that it requires a hard drive. Microsoft assured that all games would be playable on every X360, HD or not, so the real question is, what's the HD requirement for? The game itself might very well be playable but save games for the FM series can turn out to be rather big, and the mem stick is only 64mb. Hopefully SI, SEGA or Microsoft will provide further details ...
