'Left Behind: Eternal Forces' Gets In-Game Advertisement

Left Behind: Eternal Forces will put players in command of the apocalyptic battles raging in the streets of New York City between the angelic Tribulation Forces and the demonic Global Community Peacekeepers during the End of Days. Gamers will participate in events from the Left Behind book series in single player mode and battle to capture territory from other players in the multi-player online game mode.

Before development began, Left Behind Games shot thousands of photos in the streets of New York City, so advertising secured by Double Fusion will be integrated on the billboards and video screens that actually exist in the Big Apple, in Times Square and other well known sections of the city.

"We love the idea of the video screens in Times Square displaying current advertising, actually contributing to the realism that gamers expect to see in a pseudo-futuristic New York City," said Troy Lyndon, CEO and co-founder of Left Behind Games. "We selected Double Fusion because of their relationships with ad agencies worldwide, advertising industry knowledge and because of their willingness to make a commitment to support our family-friendly views when choosing advertisers."

Advertising will be integrated directly into the game, taking advantage of the capabilities of the Double Fusion software and services platform. The Double Fusion technology platform allows advertisements to be dynamically changed and updated within the title, in a fully trackable and measurable fashion, and supports 3D and video advertising placement opportunities as well as billboards and other static graphic images. Double Fusion's sales force will represent these advertising opportunities to advertisers and their agencies on a worldwide basis. The title is expected to reach male and female gamers between the ages of 13 and 34 in the games medium, which provides advertisers with a deeply invested audience committed to family values.

"'Left Behind: Eternal Forces' has all the marks of a top hit - great single- and multi-player game play, great distribution, and a great story based on the hugely popular 'Left Behind' book series," said Jonathan Epstein, president and CEO of Double Fusion. "The title offers a tremendous platform for advertisers, both mainstream and faith-based, to reach the gaming audience in a family-friendly environment."
