'Toy Golf' Announced

by Rainier on Aug. 11, 2006 @ 2:05 p.m. PDT

The game itself is a mini-golf game with a twist, Toy Golf gives all the thrills of birdies and bogeys in the comfort of a house! Putt your way through the kitchen, study, living room and a number of other indoor locations in this golf game of a different perspective.

The Toy Golf game comes out of the recently acquired Fathammer studio in Finland, where they converted one of their cutting edge 3D games specifically for the Windows XP platform.

The game features rich 3D graphics, a total of 9 different courses to satisfy even the hardcore fans, multiple camera angles to judge your shots and a hot seat multiplayer mode increasing its replay value. As with all good games Toy Golf is easy to pick up and play but difficult to master.

Jamie Conyngham, Telcogames CEO stated "We are delighted to have secured our first deal out of the Fathammer studio and hope to continue this with many more. Toy Golf is an excellent example of the power of their development expertise. This deal shows the flexibility of Telcogames to move into other gaming platforms and we are delighted that Zoo Digital Publishing have partnered with us on this project".

Barry Hatch, Managing Director, ZOO Digital Publishing added: "Toy Golf is a title that offers something different from the run of the mill golf games and will appeal to the increasingly large casual gaming audience. I am sure this is the start of a long and fruitful co-operation with Telcogames."

Toy Golf for Windows XP will be distributed across Europe in an exclusive deal with Zoo Digital Publishing in Q4 this year.
