PlayStation 3 Delayed in Europe Until April?

by Rainier on Jan. 17, 2007 @ 8:59 a.m. PST

In an interview with CNET, Sony's CEO made a statement that, if true, indicates the European PS3 launch might be facing a delay after all. Originally scheduled for March, Howard Stringer commented "We have got the European launch in April, which is very important to us." Unless this is merely a miscommunication Europe will have to wait yet another month extra.

UPDATE:Sony Europe President David Reeves confirmed again that the PS3 is still on for a March release, Stringer's statement was a mishap.
