As WP's managing editor, I edit review and preview articles, attempt to keep up with the frantic pace of Rainier's news posts, and keep our reviewers on deadline, which is akin to herding cats. When I have a moment to myself and don't have my nose in a book, I like to play action/RPG, adventure and platforming games.

Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle (PC)

Adventure, fun and humor are all arriving in one package to retailers today, as Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle has shipped to North American retail. The game is a hilarious trip back to the glory days of graphical adventure gaming, and will have players scouring the world as the intrepid adventurer Brian Basco in his search for his lost girlfriend. A variety of unique friends, foes and puzzles are all part of the Runaway experience, and will offer adventure fans hours of entertainment.

Humor, hotties, hijinks and a hilarious plotline all combine to make a fantastically fun adventure in Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle, the sequel to 2003's smash-hit adventure, Runaway, A Road Adventure. In Runaway: The Dream of the Turtle, players will travel the world, from Alaska and Hawaii to the depths of the sea and the sky above. Become immersed in a tongue-in-cheek story where you'll meet a crazy cast of miscreants in order to solve a mystery too weirdly entertaining for words in this title that pays homage to all that was great about the glory days of graphical adventure games.
