'Borderlands' (PS3/X360/PC) Revealed

by Rainier on Aug. 15, 2007 @ 1:47 a.m. PDT

Borderlands is an extraordinary cooperative experience, allowing for multiple players to share the same game experience simultaneously online. Players can freely join or leave each other's games at anytime, or choose to play in the full single-player mode. Borderlands features life-like character animations, impressive real-time physics, and customizable vehicles.
The Game Informer September 2007 issue reveals a new project in development over at Gearbox Software, which is currently finishing up Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. While details are slim, the front cover quote "Diablo meets Mad Max" indicates some sort of sci-fi inspired RPG/action game. Borderlands is scheduled for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and will feature 4-player co-op. More details shortly ...
