The Games Company Forms Casual Label Green Kangaroo

by Rainier on Sept. 26, 2007 @ 5:49 a.m. PDT

The Games Company has established a new label named Green Kangaroo, focusing on releasing decent casual and kids´ games, with its first title being TELL: the Game of the Movie, a point-&-click adventure scheduled for Nov. 2nd, 2007.

Green Kangaroo stands for enjoyable gaming experiences, reasonable pricing and beginner-friendly design. With state-of-the-art technology and moderate hardware requirements the brand primarily addresses casual gamers who prefer to play games only now and then. In the future they will find suitable games for all current platforms under the catchy label of the green kangaroo.

Markus Malti, CEO at TGC, advocates the strategy of maintaining several labels: “We have established Green Kangaroo in order to be able to draw a distinct line between casual games and core games for the end consumer, too. Under the label Green Kangaroo we will release quality products for the increasingly important casual games market at reasonable prices in the future. Full-price titles for core gamers will be released under the label of TGC.”
