SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny brings back the franchise's famous weapon-based fighting formula to deliver a robust and superior handheld experience. With a roster of more than 20 unique characters, expanded character creation feature, and multiple gameplay modes, SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny provides nail biting, head-to-head brawls that can be played anywhere, at anytime.

Developed by Project Soul exclusively for the PSP system, SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny is the first portable iteration in the series that promises to deliver its signature weapon-based fighting formula on the go.

Robust and challenging single-player modes, head-to-head multiplayer and gorgeous visuals make this a must-have for any fighting game fan.

"In creating the Soulcalibur PSP system exclusive title, we knew Kratos was the only choice to appear as our special guest character," said Makoto Iwai, Executive Vice President and COO, Namco Bandai Games America. "God of War embodies the characteristics of a classic Soulcalibur guest character with a powerful persona, a rich back story and a mighty blade with which to fight."

"The God of War development team are huge fans of the Soulcalibur series. We were honored to make Kratos a special guest character in SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny for PSP," said Allan Becker, senior director, SCEA Santa Monica Studio. "Namco Bandai has been great to work with; they're dedicated to bringing authentic Kratos combat moves to the game."

With SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny's huge roster of warriors, players can battle as one of many returning favorites or new fighters for some nail biting brawls. Blow away the competition using finely tuned and enhanced mechanics including Critical Finishes, Soul Crushes and Equipment Destruction. Adding depth to the combat, an all new single player mode has been developed that not only challenges a player's reflexes but also improves their fighting skills. SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny also allows gamers to engage in local wireless battles, allowing them to challenge a friend using the PSP system's ad hoc networking. Furthermore, an almost limitless character customization feature returns with even more possibilities to create a personalized fighter. Adrenaline pumping combat has never been so accessible.
