At the heart of PS3 is the Cell Broadband Engine, one of the most advanced computer processors in the world, that enables massive floating point calculation, and Blu-ray Disc (BD) drive, providing a High Definition (1080p) next-generation gaming and movie experience in the home, as well as up to 50 GB of data capacity.
Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with various markdowns (WipEout HD, Valhalia Knights 2, etc...), Final Fight: Double Impact, Sam & Max The Devil’s Playhouse Ep. 1 (also a demo), demo for Skate 3, DLCs for Magic Orbz, Zen Pinball, Hustle Kings, PAIN, Dante’s Inferno, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, song packs for Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band, and the usual game/movie trailers, PS3 themes, downloadable PSP games (Mimana Iyar Chronicle, Monopoly, Telegraph Sudoku & Kakuro, Sheep Defense, Sweet Reversi, and Tonzurakko).
