At the heart of PS3 is the Cell Broadband Engine, one of the most advanced computer processors in the world, that enables massive floating point calculation, and Blu-ray Disc (BD) drive, providing a High Definition (1080p) next-generation gaming and movie experience in the home, as well as up to 50 GB of data capacity.
Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with Ubisoft Game Sale (HAWX DLCs, various Petz titles), Hyperballoid HD, Puzzle Chronicles, Secret Of Monkey Island Special Edition, After Burner Climax, Lost Planet 2 Multiplayer Demo, DLCs for BUZZ!, UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, song packs for Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band, and the usual game/movie trailers, PS3 themes, downloadable PSP games (UNO, Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess!, Hysteria Project, Homerun Hitters, Shogi, and Charge! Tank Squad!).
