Anuman Interactive Launches Microïds - Games for All Label

Targeting a wide audience, Microïds - Games for All brings together all Anuman Interactive video game business, with the exception of adventure games based on Microïds’ traditional major licenses.

With over ten years of multi-platform experience behind it, Anuman Interactive announced late 2009 that it had bought Microïds and its licenses, the company’s sole objective being to cement its status as a mass-market publisher and to become one of the main players in the adventure video game industry.

In a bid to bring yet more clarity to its product range, Anuman Interactive is now restructuring its brands and launching a new label targeting a wide audience: Microïds - Games for All.

“This label brings together all Anuman Interactive video game business, with the exception of adventure games based on Microïds’ traditional major licenses,” said Eric Nguyen, Anuman Interactive’s Marketing Director. “As the name suggests, it’s focused towards all types of gamers, from beginners to skilled players and from new to retro gamers, and comprises games such as Moto Racer 15th Anniversary, XIII and future title Barbarian.”

Meanwhile, Anuman Interactive CEO Stephane Longeard had this to say: “In the eyes of the gaming community, Microïds is a strong brand based on major adventure video game licenses like Syberia, Amerzone and Still Life. Yet as far as Anuman Interactive is concerned, it's a brand that goes beyond that. It symbolizes the strong commitment we’ve made to developing our video game business worldwide, not just in adventure games but in other areas too, a commitment that's reflected in the name we’ve chosen for this new label.”

The games publisher will now operate four main brands in all:

  • Anuman Interactive comprises all its real-life and edutainment applications. These include the Highway Code, Bordas dictionaries and Gulli multiplication tables.
  • Microïds features its leading adventure game licenses such as Syberia, Amerzone and Return to Mystery Island, not to mention Anuman Interactive’s future adventure titles.
  • Microïds - Games for All brings together all the mass-market video game titles published by Anuman Interactive (racing, combat, management and retro-gaming etc).
  • LiveCAD comprises software and applications using LiveCAD technology, such as Architecture 3D Premium (PC) and Home Design 3D by LiveCAD (iPhone/iPad).
