Building on the popular naval missions featured in AC III, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is set in the 1700s during the Golden Age of Piracy, letting you roam the Caribbean islands as Edward Kenway, grandfather of AC III's main character Ratonhnhaké:ton, aka Connor.While the official announcement (with the first screens/trailer) is not expected for another few days (March 4, 2013), some sneaky internet detectives managed to uncover a teaser website where the official trailer will be viewable, which also revealed that the game is scheduled for release on October 29 (but that item has in the meantime been removed).
On top of all the premature revealing, the website listed that the game would "also" be coming next-gen consoles indicating the PS4 and Microsoft's yet un-announced console.
