FIFA 16 is the latest installment in the soccer franchise adding new features such 12 Women's National Teams for the first time in franchise history.

FIFA 16 innovates across the entire pitch to deliver a balanced, authentic, and exciting football experience that lets fans play their way, and compete at a higher level. With innovative gameplay features, FIFA 16 brings Confidence in Defending, Control in Midfield, and gives players the tools to create more Moments of Magic than ever before. Fans new to the franchise, or skilled players looking to improve their game will have a chance to Compete at a Higher Level using the all new FIFA Trainer.

Women’s National Teams from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the United States of America will all represent their respective federations in several FIFA 16 game modes including Kick Off, an Offline Tournament, as well as Online Friendly Matches.

Starting today the demo for FIFA 16 is available to download for PC on Origin, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.

“The demo is our pre-season and a chance for millions of FIFA fans to experience new gameplay features and find new ways to play in FIFA 16, like competing with Women’s National Teams and playing FIFA Ultimate Team Draft,” said Nick Channon, Senior Producer, EA SPORTS FIFA. “It’s an early look at some of the new features that will be included in this year’s game and a great chance for our team to hear what fans think about the game.”

FUT Draft, a brand new way for fans to test their team building skills and compete with some of the best football players in the world, is included in the demo. In this new mode, fans will choose from one of five formations, then a captain, and then go on to fill out the rest of their 23-man squad by selecting a player from a choice of five in each position. Once finished, they will compete single player or online in a single knockout string of four games to achieve rewards.

In Kick-off, fans can choose from eight club sides (FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Chelsea FC, Inter Milan, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid CF, River Plate and Seattle Sounders) or two Women’s National Teams (Germany and United States). The historic Santiago Bernabeu and two stadiums new to the franchise, BORUSSIA-PARK and CenturyLink Field will feature as official stadiums in the demo. Fans playing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC will get their first look at the new Bundesliga Broadcast Presentation when Borussia Dortmund plays Borussia Mönchengladbach at BORUSSIA-PARK. Rounding out the demo are FIFA Trainer, a new contextual training system, as well as six new skill games.
