Call Of Duty World League Pro Division Begins Tomorrow

by Rainier on Jan. 11, 2016 @ 10:05 a.m. PST

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a dark, gritty future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the cutting-edge military robotics that define the future of combat.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III delivers a campaign that can be played as a full single player game or co-op online with up to four players, the deepest, most rewarding multiplayer ever offered in Call of Duty, and, a mind blowing Call of Duty Zombies experience that, for the first time, features its own XP progression system.

Top eSports teams from around the globe are beginning their run toward a share of $3 Million in prizing as part of the Call of Duty: World League.

Stage 1 of the CWL Pro Division begins today in Australia/New Zealand, and tomorrow in Europe, and North America. Each week, for up to 11 weeks, teams will battle it out online on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as part of CWL Pro Division competition with each match being streamed live to the fans. The top teams in each region will face off in a regional LAN as part of the Stage 1 Finals, beginning in March.

With Call of Duty: Black Ops III taking center stage during the qualifying event, and throughout the inaugural Pro Division Competition, there's never been a better time to follow Call of Duty eSports.

Tune in to the Call of Duty live stream every week to watch the action, and discover which top eSports teams will secure their place as the best in the inaugural season of the Call of Duty World League Presented by PS4.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III campaign deploys players into a future world, where bio-technology coupled with cybernetic enhancements has given rise to a new breed of Black Ops soldier.  Through Direct Neural Interface (DNI) technology, players are now connected to the intelligence grid and their fellow operatives during battle.  In a world more divided than ever, this elite squad consists of men and women who have enhanced their combat capabilities to fight faster, stronger, and smarter.

The most engaging and rewarding multiplayer offering to date debuts a new momentum-based, chained-movement system that allows players to move fluidly through custom-built environments with finesse, all while maintaining complete control over their weapon at all times.Treyarch also introduces its new Specialist system, which lets players choose and rank up nine elite Black Ops soldiers, each with their own look, personality, voice and battle-hardened weapons and abilities, fundamentally changing the way players engage in combat.  Multiplayer is rounded out with an all-new weapon customization system that give players more powerful tools than ever to build and personalize that perfect weapon.
