Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom brings together the beautiful, anime-inspired visuals from the first game along with a fresh new battle system and all-new storyline.

In the world of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, players enter the kingdom of Ding Dong Dell, where cats, mice, and humans once lived in harmony. After a treacherous coup, Evan, the young boy king of Ding Dong Dell is banished from his kingdom. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom recounts the story of this deposed king and his journey to build his own kingdom and unite the entire world.

Supporting Evan on his adventure are friends Roland, Tani, and beings known as Higgledies who come from the power of the hearts found within people, animals, and elements such as fire and wind. Only individuals with pure hearts can see the Higgledies. The Higgledies will aid Evan throughout his journey, helping him in battles, and letting him reach places he wouldn’t otherwise be able to access. Join Evan on his quest as he fights powerful monsters, face perilous dungeons, and rises to once again become a King!

Initially scheduled for 2017, then delayed until Jan. 19, 2018, Bandai Namco Entertainment and LEVEL-5 have pushed Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom until March 23, 2018 to give the developers more time to polish the game.

As you all know, LEVEL-5 is committed to delivering the highest levels of design and quality in each of our titles. The development of our latest project, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, is coming along very nicely and we can’t wait to share this new adventure with you, our fans. In an effort to constantly innovate, we’ve also implemented new modes in Ni no Kuni II, including the new Skirmish and Kingdom Modes.

However, with innovation and new ideas comes the need to ensure everything works together in a fun and cohesive way; this means we’ll need a bit more time to make sure the entire Ni no Kuni II experience meets our highest quality standards. So today, I would like to ask for everyone’s patience as we move Ni no Kuni II’s worldwide release date to March 23, 2018. We will be sharing more news about Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom in the coming weeks and months as we move closer to our new launch date.
