'Beast Quest' (ALL) Delayed Until 2018

by Rainier on Dec. 4, 2017 @ 10:37 a.m. PST

Based on the fiction books franchise, Beast Quest is an action-adventure title with RPG elements.

Evoking the same sense of sprawling wonder found in the books, Beast Quest will take players on an epic journey to save the mythical land of Avantia from ruin.

Dark magic has corrupted the towering, noble creatures of the realm, which players must overcome in action-packed boss battles - dodging, blocking and countering attacks while chaining combos and unleashing allies to turn the tide of combat.

Meanwhile, spectacular environments with rich open-level design offer daring heroes opportunities to discover challenging quests, powerful upgrades, and ancient secrets hiding just beyond the horizon.

With a previously set release date for Oct. 31, 2017, which obviously did not happen, we asked Maximum Games for an update on Beast Quest.

"We pushed the date so we could focus on some improvements to the game; it needed additional development time, so the new launch date is March 13, 2018."

Beast Quest is the popular fiction book series by Adam Blade, first published in July 2007 by Orchard Books. The hit children’s book series has sold 17 million copies globally, with 8 million copies in the UK alone, and has been translated into 30+ languages, with 120 titles published to date.

Each series focuses on the themes of friendship, fantasy and adventure, encouraging children to read by infusing the subject matter with elements they enjoy. Beast Quest is favored by parents and teachers as the structure encourages children to read a whole series (4 or 6 titles), rather than just one book.
