'Little Nightmares' (ALL) Gets Comic Book Tie-In

by Rainier on Feb. 15, 2017 @ 11:59 a.m. PST

Little Nightmares will allow you to embark on a grim adventure as you help our hero "Six" in her yellow raincoat escape The Maw – a vast, mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls looking for their next meal.

Do you remember your childhood fears?

Little Nightmares presents a grim shadow-filled adventure through an interactive storyline, outstanding sound design, and a unique art-style that is sure to deliver eerie chills and goosebumps. Players will discover that Little Nightmares blurs the lines between dreams and nightmares as they explore The Maw in an effort to escape its nightmarish confines. Gruesome enemies and environments can be found at every turn on this strange vessel; the fate of Six lies in the skillful hands of hands of players.

Bandai Namco Entertainment and Titan Comics are thrilled to announce the creation of comics based on the upcoming 3D puzzle-platformer Little Nightmares!

This four-issue mini-series delightfully connects to the deranged video game, which follows Six, a little girl, who tumbles into a den of ravenous creatures beneath The Maw – a grim feeding trough for the swollen, corrupted souls of the world. A place where excess is encouraged and dark secrets kept far out of sight.

“As an entertainment company our vision is to go beyond our games and use several formats such as comic books to tell great stories. With these comics, fans will be able to dive deeper into the vast universe of Little Nightmares and learn more about events connected to the game and beyond.” said Hervé Hoerdt – Vice President of Marketing & Digital at Bandai Namco Entertainment.

Titan Comics’ Little NightmaresIssue #1 is written by Dan Watters (Assassin’s Creed: Uprising) and Alex Paknadel (Assassin’s Creed: Uprising) with art by Aaron Alexovich (Heart Shaped Skull).

Titan Comics’ Little Nightmares will be available to order from Diamond PREVIEWS catalogue.

Little Nightmares is slated to launch digitally on April 28, 2017.
