'Kursk' (ALL) v2.0 Update Adds New Features, Imporvements & Content

by Rainier on Dec. 17, 2018 @ 2:47 a.m. PST

Kursk is a n adventure survival game that looks at the tragedy of the submarine ship from a new angle and will combine first-person action with a heavy focus on a carefully crafted story and engrossing gameplay.

Kursk will be the first proper adventure-documentary game in history. It will tell the tragic story of the submarine that sank to the bottom of the Barents Sea on August 12, 2000 with all 118 crew members on board. The exact cause of the disaster still remains unknown. The plot of the game will be mostly based on facts, thanks to which players will have the opportunity to learn more about the dramatic story of the vessel.

The main mechanics and aspects of the game include internal policies, the economy, diplomacy, a unique event system, warfare, espionage, and engaging missions. The results of the player’s decisions will be strongly affected by the moral choices they make during gameplay.

Jujubee has updated their documentary-adventure game Kursk to version 2.0 which greatly enhances the player’s overall gaming experience. The studio listened to the community’s requests as well as to each and every review posted on Steam.

Kursk has been updated with enhanced and new animations, a more user-friendly UI, new and improved visual effects and with more ambient sounds to boost the game’s atmosphere. The players have reported that the loading times were too long and they too have been taken care of as the team has drastically decreased their duration. Worth mentioning is the fact that the digital artbook has been updated, containing 117 pages of concept art with the submarine’s design, sections, environments, dedicated assets, equipment, characters, and a whole lot more.

Jujubee is taking part in the upcoming Steam Winter Sale offering a reasonable discount for Kursk and its board game DLC. The developers are also working on bringing Kursk to both Linux and Mac with a predicted release date in the first quarter of 2019.

Kursk is currently available on PC, with the consoles version to be available in the first half of 2019.
