'Kingdom Come: Deliverance' (ALL) Rolls Out v1.4 Patch, Free HD Texture/Sound Pack DLC For PC

by Rainier on March 29, 2018 @ 5:33 p.m. PDT

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open-world, action-adventure, role-playing game featuring a nonlinear story and revolutionary, first-person melee combat.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance promises a first-person seat to a harsh and brutal power struggle for the throne. As players traverse expansive, strikingly detailed locales, they’ll grapple with a range of period-accurate fighting techniques, horseback combat, open-field sieges, and large-scale battles, all while developing relationships and a reputation that will inform the greater story.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance promises no magic, high fantasy or mythical overtones - it draws its inspiration instead from historically authentic characters, themes, and warfare.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a first-person, open world, realistic RPG that will take you to Medieval Europe in a time of great upheaval and strife. The game is set in 15th century Central Europe, the Kingdom of Bohemia is on the verge of civil war. You play as Henry, the son of blacksmith. Your hometown was raided and your family was murdered. Driven by a lust for vengeance you go out on an epic journey. The local lord entrusts you with identifying the culprits behind the massacres plaguing the region. You will need to use all your skills of persuasion and intimidation to extract valuable information from bandits but you are not the only one who is after the raiders. A mysterious killer is slaughtering all witnesses in the most vicious way. In order to bring end to the bloodshed you must act fast.

Warhorse Studios releases a new Patch for the medieval role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The new Patch 1.4 introduces new beard and hair mechanics to Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Players will now be able to visit the bathhouses in Kingdom Come to customize their appearance. Getting a fresh haircut also improves charisma. On the other hand, newly added unarmed mercy kills support a more violent approach to your quests.  For the special occasion of the Easter Holiday Warhorse also added a limited time Easter special. Players can go on the hunt for real Easter eggs including one golden egg. In addition to the egg hunt Warhorse Studios also added an Easter themed traditional Czech “Weapon” called “Pomlazká” all wrapped up with the fixes for over 200 quest bugs.

As a special treat, Warhorse Studios released the first free DLC - HD Texture & Audio Pack for PC which together enhance the visual and audio experience of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. HD Textures boost the overall graphics of Kingdom Come: Deliverance to create an ever more lifelike look at 1403 Bohemia. HD Audio is available for all three voiceover languages (English, German and French) and enhances all in game voiceovers and sounds.
