'Tera' (ALL) Details PS4/Xbox Content & Updates Scheduled for May

by Rainier on April 30, 2018 @ 11:23 a.m. PDT

TERA is an MMORPG where you battle epic wars, protect your kingdom from demise, and brings you thrills never experienced before in traditional MMOs with its action-filled gameplay and riveting visuals.

TERA brings true action combat into a high fantasy MMORPG setting. Players explore a vast world where their combat skills are put to the test against deadly Big Ass Monsters (BAMs). They’ll need to actively dodge out of the way of incoming attacks, study enemy attack patterns, and execute precise skill combos to take them down! You will have full control over the attacks and the fate of your enemy. No more "pointing and clicking" and playing combat relay with the enemies. Furthermore, not only do you control the action, TERA is also set in a world where the players will dictate the flow of the economy and individually impact the community environment.

In TERA, players master their destiny in a richly detailed game world with a pioneering dynamic combat system. Individual player actions can transform the balance of power in a world where old rivalries are erased, and disparate races must form a common federation to stave off destruction by marauding monsters and warring gods.

You become part of the realm of Arborea, created by the Ancient Gods. You defend your race in a fantasy world where your creators, descendents of the Ancient Gods, have warred upon each other centuries ago. Join forces and become part of a vast world in constant conflict, where new battles and weaponry skills will leave you grasping for more as you become immersed in the realm of Arborea. Take charge and become the hero the world seeks!

With a character type to match nearly every play style and innumerable customization options, TERA gives every player a gameplay experience that is uniquely their own. Quest solo, bring your friends, or make new ones…the world of TERA awaits.

Following its launch on April 3 for both Xbox One and PS4, En Masse has created a dynamic lineup of updates that will keep the momentum going with something new for players to experience every week in the month of May.

Throughout the month, players can expect new content and updates to appear on PS4 and Xbox One on a weekly basis starting off on May 5 with the game’s first Item Pass Delivery and a new five-player dungeon set for level 65 characters. The following week, players will be able to test their PvP skills with a new level-65 battleground called Corsairs’ Stronghold, where two teams of 20 players will alternate between protecting the keep and attacking it in a best-of-three siege mode.

“Following the successful launch of TERA on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, our next goal is keeping the community engaged with exciting new game content,” said Matt Denomme, Sr. Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. “We have a strong month planned out for players of all tastes and types in May, and that’s just the beginning. There’s even more new content ahead that we’re sure both veteran and new players will be thrilled to experience.”

Here's the full run down

May 1: We're kicking off the month with the first Item Pass delivery, plus a new dungeon: Lilith's Keep (Hard): a 5—player dungeon for level 65 characters. (Lilith's Keep is designed for characters with item level 417 or higher.)

May 8: Queue up! It's time for a 20 v 20 rumble! Corsairs' Stronghold is a level 65 PvP battleground, featuring a best—of—three siege mode, which puts one team inside the titular fortress to defend while the other team attacks it—then switches the roles in the next round.

May 18–27: For these 10 days in May, each and every monster you kill—both in the open world, and in dungeons—awards you double the normal experience!

May 22: For the last week of May, we're introducing Ruinous Manor (Hard)—which is part of the same storyline that led you to Lilith's Keep. This is also a 5—player dungeon for level 65 characters; designed for characters with a minimum item level of 422.

TERA is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 sand PC.
