'Two Point Hospital' Pebberley Island DLC Announced, Dated - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on March 4, 2019 @ 10:08 a.m. PST

Two Point Hospital is a simulation game where you design stunning hospitals, cure peculiar illnesses and manage troublesome staff as you spread your budding healthcare organization across Two Point County.

Two Point Hospital is a revolutionary new treatment for Light-Headedness. In what 'experts' are describing as a 'light bulb moment for completely fictional medicine', Farnham/UK based studio Two Point Studios are drawing plaudits for their inception of the 'De-Lux Clinic', which is being rolled out across Two Point County to tackle the recent epidemic of this filamentally flummoxing affliction.

Two Point Hospital, inspired by and from the creators of Theme Hospital, is set to be a return to one of gaming's most loved sim genres. Two Point Hospital draws on the experience of some the gaming industry's most experienced and successful sim developers, who between them, in addition to Theme Hospital, have worked on titles like Black and White, Theme Park and Fable at studios including Bullfrog, Lionhead and Mucky Foot. Two Point Hospital will deliver a compelling experience packed with the humour, charm and replayability fans of the genre have come to expect.

Legend tells of an immortality granting spring deep in the heart of Two Point County's tropical Pebberley Island. Part-time explorer and notorious germaphobe Wiggy Silverbottom (voiced here by chap-hop artist Professor Elemental) needs your help sterilising a path to this mystical spring.

Pebberley Island brings new content and challenging gameplay mechanics to the Two Point Hospital formula, as you cure 10 new visual and 24 non-visual illnesses in three new treatment rooms on your quest for better healthcare. Deal with extreme weather on the deceptively idyllic atoll of Pebberley Reef; complete challenges to open up a dense and sentient jungle and establish a medical facility amongst the trees in Overgrowth; and cure waves of sick tourists in a new horde mode atop the stunning plateau of Topless Mountain. As a source to eternal life would revolutionise healthcare somewhat, we're assuming you're ready for this audacious expedition... Right?

Two Point Hospital: Pebberley Island, the DLC coming to Steam on March 18 for $8.99 - and available to pre-order now with a 10% discount.

Key Features:

  • Design Your Hospital: Build and customise your hospital - it is yours after all - with specialist diagnosis and treatment facilities, as well as the very latest in ornamental technology!
  • Cure Your Patients: Feeling light-headed? Just wait until you see the other unusual illnesses afflicting the people of Two Point County. Care for, and profit from, the ill: that seems like it’s probably a win-win. They’ll need feeding, entertaining and curing if they’re going to recommend you to all their equally unwell friends! That cash isn’t going to make itself, now.
  • Manage Your Staff: Hire your staff, juggle their demands and cater to their personalities. Train a crack team that can handle every sickly challenge that’s thrown at it, and fire anyone that can’t.
  • Expand Your Organisation: Grow the sickness business across the beautiful Two Point County. Research illnesses and develop new inventions to compete with rival healthcare companies.
  • Collaborate and Compete with Friends: Once you’ve conquered the world with your medical empire, contribute to Two Point County’s global medical community with collaborative research projects, or demonstrate your medical prowess in competitive multiplayer challenges.

Two Point Hospital is now available for PC via Steam and the SEGA Store.
