'Persona 5 Royal' (PS4) Reveals English Voices - Trailer

by Rainier on June 10, 2019 @ 9:48 a.m. PDT

Persona 5 is a JRPG about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students - the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets in the game's story - who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves.

Two years ago, the Phantom Thieves stole the hearts of millions of fans around the world. Now, they're getting ready to make their triumphant return in Persona 5 Royal, an enhanced release of ATLUS's acclaimed JRPG Persona 5.

Persona 5 Royal expands on the extraordinary world of Persona 5,introducing a host of new characters, gameplay features, and diving deeper into the personal lives, as well as the trials and tribulations, of the enigmatic (and exceedingly-stylish) Phantom Thieves.

Players will even get to experience an all-new third semester at Shujin Academy that's never been seen before!

Featuring the incredible talents of the original Persona 5 English voice cast, including Xander Mobus, Max Mittelman, Cassandra Lee Morris, Erika Harlacher, Matt Mercer, Cherami Leigh, Erica  Lindbeck, Xanthe Huynh, and Robbie Daymond, this trailer gives fans a glimpse at just a few of the new features and story beats introduced in Persona 5 Royal.

ATLUS USA also introduced the actors lending their voices to P5R’s new central characters:

  • Laura Post as the talented gymnast and new playable party member, Kasumi Yoshizawa
  • Billy Kametz as Shujin Academy’s counselor and new confidant, Takuto Maruki

No playable demo of Persona 5 Royal will be available on the E3 show floor, but that doesn’t mean the Phantom Thieves aren’t keeping an eye out. E3 attendees who visit Booth #4800, West Hall A&B may have a chance to steal a Persona 5 Royal treasure of their own.

Persona 5 Royal is coming to the West in 2020 for PS4.
