Dungeons III Free On Epic Games Store, The Textorcist Next Week

by Rainier on Nov. 5, 2020 @ 11:09 a.m. PST

For the next week, the Epic Games Store is offering one title for free: Dungeons III.

In Dungeons 3, the Dungeon Lord has successfully united the forces of evil and established the roots of his dark empire, leading him to the next step in his diabolical quest: expansion!

Unleash your dark side by creating a unique underground dungeon from a huge array of rooms, traps, and structures. Raise the most terrifying army the world has ever seen, by choosing from despicable creatures such as orcs, succubae, zombies and much, much more. Then, once you have built your forces, emerge from the darkness and guide your army to the light of the overworld, where you will corrupt the land and dispatch anything even vaguely heroic, cute or unicorn-shaped. And in a first for the Dungeons series, experience randomly generated levels, so that no two sessions are alike – never-ending fun for any evil conqueror!

Through enticing the dark elf priestess Thalya from the fluffy clutches of the surface world to become his chief lieutenant, the Dungeon Lord has found a way to direct his campaign of conquest from the confines of his underground lair. With Thalya on the front line, and the united forces of evil to support her, players will have to use every trick in the book to best those do-gooders of the overworld, once and for all!

Once Dungeons III, the current free game on the Epic Games Store, has run its course, it will be up to The Textorcist, which will be gratis starting November 12 until November 19, 2020.

How many things are you able to do at once? Test your multi-tasking skills in The Textorcist where you "only" have to do two things: type and dodge.

Sounds easy enough in theory but proves much harder in practice. This game will put you to the limits of your cognitive and body coordination capacities.

You're Ray Bibbia, private exorcist and certified badass. Your mission is to rid the world of every evil spirit and send them back to hell. You banish them by typing out the holy passages from your book, down to the last letter. A city in decay, streets filled with thugs and only one man to stop it all. Groundbreaking gameplay, exorcists, demons, the Pope and tons of hardcore action-filled boss battles for the first type em up game ever realized.

Any spelling mistake you make will set you back, but to make things really interesting you also have to dodge your enemies' relentless bullet barrage at the same time. Welcome to (Bullet) Hell!

But obviously this is still not enough of a challenge for you, which is why later on in the game the texts will be in Latin, as is proper for such a holy man of the church as Ray Bibbia.

Get ready for an electrifying mix between a bullet game and a typing hell!
