Diabotical is a colorful, fast paced, first person shooter featuring eggbots, egg shaped robots who battle each other in the arenas that they have created, with a variety of weapons for different situations.

Fans interested in the closed beta can sign-up on the official website, and if you are selected you will only receive a single email with your beta key.

The closed beta will take place during at least 4 weekends:

• Weekend 1 Stress test: February 28 - March 1, 2020
• Weekend 2: March 6 - March 8, 2020
• Weekend 3: March 13 - March 15, 2020
• Weekend 4: March 20 - March 22, 2020

In the first weekend, the modes Wipeout, Wee-Bow Instagib and Arena 1v1 / 2v2 will be the playable modes available through matchmaking, as well as the ability to create custom games for these modes by inviting friends. In an addition to that there is a warmup mode, a practice mode, a HUD editor and the map editor. In the following weekends, other modes will be made available along with adjustments and fixes based on the previous weekend's feedback.

After receiving an email with the key, if you have not done so yet, go to Epic Game Store, create an account, then click on the Get Epic Games button to download the launcher and install it. After you are done you can login through the launcher, click on your username and select Redeem code where you can paste the key (the same process can be done on the website). After that when you go to the Library you will have a new product called Diabotical, then when it becomes available on February 28th, you can install it and start playing Diabotical!

If you are a Kickstarter backer who did not request a refund, you will already be receiving a key for the closed beta (or two keys depending on your pledge), please do not sign-up.Kickstarter backers who did not request a refund will receive other rewards in the future, including the first battle pass for free. During the closed beta everyone will have access to the current customization options.

The refunds for Kickstarter backers who have requested them, will be sent out before the closed beta keys are sent out on the 27th of February.
