Just as Black Book embraces the strong narrative of the adventure genre, fans of turn-based RPGs will feel right at home with its strategic turn-based combat. As you chase the seals of the Black Book, you’ll collect cards that combine to create unique and devastating spells. The cards you choose will directly impact how each battle unfolds, but it doesn’t end there. Companion characters and demon recruits add another layer of strategy to Vasilisa’s journey.

Black Book has launched its Kickstarter campaign, looking to raise $35,000, and interested fans can try out a free Black Book: Prologue on Steam.

Morteshka has a line up of exciting stretch goals established for the game. The first of which consists of including a star studded cast of voice actors for their characters. Sarah Anne Williams is the first reveal as the English voice of Vasilisa but a lot of games might know her better as the voice of Jinx in League of Legends!
