'Grand Theft Auto Online' (ALL) Adds Double Rewards, Multiple Clothing Unlocks, Weapon Discounts, and More

by Rainier on March 11, 2021 @ 3:39 p.m. PST

Set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and the surrounding area, Grand Theft Auto V delivers a world of unprecedented scale and detail bursting with life, from mountaintops to the depths of the ocean.

When a young street hustler, a retired bank robber and a terrifying psychopath find themselves entangled with some of the most frightening and deranged elements of the criminal underworld, the U.S. government and the entertainment industry, they must pull off a series of dangerous heists to survive in a ruthless city in which they can trust nobody, least of all each other.

Switch between the interconnected lives of Michael, Trevor and Franklin as they embark on a series of heists across Los Santos and Blaine County in the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover.

Grand Theft Auto V also comes with Grand Theft Auto Online, the dynamic and ever-evolving online universe for up to 30 players, and includes all existing gameplay upgrades and content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online.

Rise through the ranks to become a CEO of your own criminal empire by trading contraband or form a Motorcycle Club and rule the streets. Pull off daring co-operative Heists, enter adrenaline-fueled Stunt Races, compete in unique Adversary Modes or create your own content to play and share with the entire GTA community.

It pays to have contacts on the street this week, as Lamar Davis and Martin Madrazo up their rewards for helpful players in GTA Online. Players who take on any of Lamar’s missions this week will now score Double Rewards, while Martin Madrazo is likewise dispensing double to those who take part in his Dispatch Services.

In addition, Business Battles, Transform Races and Hunting Pack (Remix) are all offering 2X GTA$ and RP, while hefty discounts on Properties, Weapons and Vehicles are also available in this week’s update:

  • Double GTA$ & RP in Lamar Missions, Madrazo Dispatch Services, Transform Races, Hunting Pack (Remix), and all Business Battles

Double Rewards on Lamar Missions and Madrazo Dispatch Services

You might know him for his sharp wit and gift of insulting gab, but Lamar Davis wants it to be known that he’s a savvy businessman to be taken seriously on the streets of Los Santos. That was about all he said that was safe to print. Pick up when he calls or drop him a line any time you’re ready to make 2X GTA$ and RP, all week long.

The same bonus goes for Martin Madrazo, too. Should he give you a ring, make sure to answer his calls, as Madrazo tends to get irate with those who don’t pick up.

2X GTA$ and RP on Transform Races

Some things in life are beyond explanation — they simply must be experienced to be understood. The thrill of piloting a Rocket Voltic into a checkpoint with a couple Gs worth of force and transforming into a Seashark or a Phantom Wedge in a cloud of smoke is exactly one of those things.

Luckily for you, whatever shape the future takes, all Transform Races are paying out double GTA$ and RP through March 17th.

2X GTA$ and RP in Hunting Pack (Remix)

The idea is a simple one: if you’re a Runner, pick up speed and don’t let it drop to prevent a bomb onboard your vehicle from exploding. If you’re an Attacker, bring the Runner down by any means necessary. If you’re a Defender: lay your life on the line to protect the Runner. The execution of this idea, on the other hand, will require guts and finesse no matter what team you’re on, and things will almost definitely get messy.

Whatever role you’re given, you’re leaving with twice the usual GTA$ and RP on all games of Hunting Pack (Remix).

2X GTA$ and RP for all Business Battles

In addition to fetching fresh contraband to pad the shelves of your Nightclub Warehouse, competing in Business Battles will pay out double until March 17th.

Faded Dinka Tee for Collectors Only

All GTA Online players who previously picked up the Dinka Tee will receive a faded version — the Dinka Aged Tee — just for playing this week. Keep it neatly folded and maybe it could eventually sell for a tremendous amount to a tight-trousered hipster on an auction site in the distant future.

Unlock the Neon Skull Emissive Mask and Los Santos Panic ProLaps Basketball Kit

The uniforms aren’t just for the athletes anymore — they’re for the fans. There’s still time to complete The Cayo Perico Heist by the 17th and get the Panic ProLaps Basketball Top. A true completist will go the extra mile and successfully steal a Secondary Target to get their hands on the Panic ProLaps Basketball Shorts too.

Complete any Prep for the Doomsday Heist before March 17th, meanwhile, to receive the Neon Skull Emissive Mask — simply come back any time after March 22nd to claim it (all awards should be delivered within 72 hours).

On the Podium This Week: HVY Nightshark

Stop by the lobby of The Diamond Casino & Resort and give the Lucky Wheel a spin to walk away with GTA$, RP, clothing, and other assorted mystery prizes. This week on the podium is the HVY Nightshark, an armored SUV built to withstand an onslaught of rockets, bullets, and whatever else life throws at you.
