Minute of Islands places players on a strange and beautiful archipelago. Polluted by dangerous spores, the only thing that keeps the islands safe are mysterious antennas that were built by Giants when they lived alongside people. Now,  these ancient machines are failing, and the only person who can repair them is the young engineer Mo and her versatile Omni Switch tool.

Driven to protect her family and friends, Mo sets out on a quest where she encounters a cast of curious creatures along the way. But, as she uncovers the truth of the islands and the giants living below the surface, she will begin to learn that maybe her focus and stoic ambition are not always the assets she believes them to be. It's a journey that will have players discovering more about the islands and Mo, while also having them examine their own lives and priorities. It’s this realisation that leads Mo on a journey over the haunted islands of her homeworld and into the depths of her subconscious.

Minute of Islands has a bold art style that sees each frame individually handcrafted by Studio Fizbin’s team of artists and illustrators. Every island is lovingly filled with detail, creating a world that begs to be explored as players uncover its many visual narratives. This illustrative style combines with a nuanced story filled with reflection and an atmospheric soundtrack to create a world that feels truly lived in. Players can prepare to lose themselves in the islands’ mystery as they shine a light on the harsh realities of the surface and delve into the dark secrets that reside below.

Publisher Mixtvision and developer Studio Fizbin announce that the release of the art- and story-driven puzzle-platformer Minute of Islands will be pushed to a later date. 

Due to some major technical issues that occurred during the last round of testing, Minute of Islands’ multi-platform release, originally scheduled for March 18, 2021, has to be postponed. A new fixed release date for Minute of Islands can’t be given at the moment.

“We can’t wait to see our game out in the wild”, says Anjin Anhut, Game Director at Studio Fizbin, “but we want to ensure that everyone can enjoy it in the best possible condition. We hope players will soon be able to follow in our protagonist Mo’s footsteps across the vivid world of Minute of Islands and find out for themselves what makes the game so special.”
