In New World, players are pitted against the haunted wilderness of a mysterious island known as Aeternum. Success in New World depends on players’ ability to conquer not only companies of rival players, but the dark soul of Aeternum itself, as it unleashes undead legions, hell-bent on purging them from its shores. In its unsettled state, Aeternum is open and chaotic, but rich in opportunity for soldiers, explorers, artisans, and empire-builders.

Fate has summoned you to the shores of Aeternum, the Eternal Isle. Overcome the brutal legions of The Corrupted and draw battle lines with competing players in this land of danger and opportunity. Massive battles set New World apart, with fortress sieges against other players and supernatural invasions, featuring up to 100 players on the battlefield at once. Combat in New World is visceral and skill-based, giving players direct control over their movements and attacks. Players can band together to form powerful Companies operating out of fortified strongholds, or play alone and acquire and customize their own homes as they contribute to the growth of the larger community around them. Welcome to the New World June XP Extravaganza event! Throughout June, we’ll be hosting a variety of bonus XP events for adventurers to maximize their characters’ potential through leveling up weapons, trade skills, and more. With the new 3v3 Arena, PvP rewards track, new quests and more, there’s a variety of reasons to swap up your build, and try new things— so to kickstart the June XP Extravaganza, we’ll be starting off with Double Weapon XP from June 6 - 9! This 2XP event, (and future events) will run from 12AM PST Monday, through 12AM PST Thursday (7AM Monday - 7AM Thursday UTC).

June 6 - 9: Weapon 2XP Event

From June 6 to June 9, all weapons will receive a double experience bonus up to level 20 (max level). The full list of weapon categories available in New World include:
