The Urbz: Sims in the City has officially gone gold for all platforms including the Playstation 2, Xbox, Nintendo Gamecube, Gameboy Advance and DS. The game will begin shipping under the EA GAMES brand starting Tuesday, November 9.

THQ and JAKKS Pacific today announced the release of their newest World Wrestling Entertainment licensed video game, WWE Survivor Series for the Game Boy Advance. Slitherine has updated its official website announcing they will be conducting a closed Legion Arena betatest and are now accepting signups. The first phase starts November 2004, and a second, and much larger, round will commence January 2005. Legion Arena is an online RPSG or Role Playing Strategy Game, and blends core gameplay elements from the RTS & RPG genres. Set in ancient Rome, Legion Arena puts the player in charge of their own army, which they must develop, nurture and train, transforming a bunch of peasants into a fearsome fighting force.

Novalogic Offering 'Joint Operations' Downloadable Content

Commencing October 21st, owners of Joint Operations will be able to download versions of classic Joint Ops maps that are optimized for 5 v 5 player squad engagements. The first map to be released is 'Kutu Arms Market' and will be available via NovaLogic's own NovaXchange Map exchange system. Log into NovaWorld.com and click on the 'Xchange" tab at the top of the screen to download this new map, as well as access over 200 user created Joint Ops maps. NovaLogic will be adding more Squad optimized content for download over the coming weeks.

Avalanche Studios specialises in the creation of innovative game concepts using its cutting edge proprietary technology. Activision announced today that the company is developing a sequel based on the ever-popular Marvel franchise with Raven Software. Sony UK confirmed today that the European edition of its highly popular racing game 'Gran Turismo 4' has been pushed back from its original Dec. 2004 release date to Q1 2005. At the TGS earlier this year GT4 producer Kazunori Yamauchi had said that there would be a somewhat simultanious world wide release it seems Sony Europe needs more time to complete all the different localized versions (translations in 13 different languages).
