Ubisoft Europe announced that it has reached an agreement with Bethesda Softworks to publish Pirates of the Caribbean: The Legend of Jack Sparrow, developed by 7 Studios, a pirate-themed action game for the PS2 and PC.

Activision has finally released the long awaited Call of duty 2 patch, bringing your retail game to v1.2 and implementing PunkBuster anti-cheat technology, as well as two new multiplayer maps: Rhine and the longtime community favorite Harbor, from the original Call of Duty. Eidos announced today that Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend has reached No.1 in the UK. The game has achieved the top spot in the PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360 charts and reached No.2 in the PC chart, kept from the PC top spot by another Eidos title Championship Manager 2006.
