A few months back various outlets claimed that Star Wars Battlefront III would be an X360 exclusive, and while it is generally assumed Free Radical is working on a new installment in the franchise, SWBF2 was after all LucasArts' best selling Star Wars title ever, there has yet to be an official announcement. With E3 only days away, we might be seeing the first SWBF III material rather soonish as online retailer Amazon just added Star Wars Battlefront III product listings for no less than 6 platforms (PS2, PS3, Wii, NDS, X360 and PSP) with a tentative release date set for March 15, 2009.

European Union Wants to Ban Suspected Pirates from Internet

A proposed bill being voted on this week by the European Union would give governments authorization to deem certain software illegal to be used on the internet. The new anti-piracy rules would put in effect a Europe-wide three strikes law, giving three warning to people suspected of sharing copyrighted files, eventually banning offenders from accessing the internet. Needless to say organizations such as Foundation for a Free Internet and various law firms are already up in arms.
