SilverBirch Finalizing Lighthouse Acquisition

Originally announced a few months back, SilverBirch has settled definitive terms for the purchase of 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Lighthouse Interactive Game Publishing. The final closing is anticipated to take place shortly following approval by the Toronto Stock Exchange Venture Exchange.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts the famous bear and bird duo return for a unique adventure of epic proportions. The Lord of the Games is tired of the petty squabbling between Banjo and the evil witch Gruntilda (aka Grunty) over the years, and has arranged a showdown to decide the rightful owner of Spiral Mountain. Microsoft denied speculation from earlier today that comments from Microsoft creative director Ken Lobb referred to a possible, and often rumored, Motion Sensor Controller.

'Dissidia: Final Fantasy' (PSP) - 12 New Screens

Dissidia: Final Fantasy is an all-new original title in the FF franchise, although it's not part of the compilation of Final Fantasy VIII or the Ivalice Alliance. Not a standard RPG, it's been described as a "dramatic progressive action" title, and Tetsuya Nomura, known for Kingdom Hearts, has signed on to be the game's character designer.

Rumored a few days ago, Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification has given Fallout 3 an RC rating, making it illegal to sell. Whether local distributor Red Ant will modify the game like AFA did earlier this week for Dark Sector remains to be seen.
