'Blitz: The League II' (PS3/X360) Gets Additional Commentators - Screens

Back for another season of heart-pumping, bone-crushing, no-holds-barred football action, Blitz: The League II strips the rules and regulations from traditional football to enhance the fun by bringing the pain. Frank Caliendo — known for his impressions of legendary football broadcaster John Madden, President George W. Bush and Al Pacino — and former host of Last Comic Standing, Jay Mohr, have been recruited to join Lawrence Taylor in Blitz: The League II.

In The Eye of Judgment collectible trading cards, embedded with a CyberCode, are placed in front of the PlayStation Eye for their respective creatures to come to life in 3D and battle on screen. The EOJ World Championships begins Aug. 14th, with the winner getting their image on an in-game card as well as compete against Watanabe-san from the Japan studio.

Nvidia Adding PhysX to GeForce Cards Next Week

On Aug. 12, Nvidia will release new graphics drivers that will allow owners of most GeForce 8, GeForce 9, and GeForce GTX 200-series cards to automatically use PhysX acceleration according to Tech Report. Along with the drivers will come a PhysX software pack containing free UT 3 maps, the full version of NetDevil's Warmonger, a couple of Nvidia demos, and sneak peeks at Object Software's Metal Knight Zero and Nurien Software's Nurien social-networking service.
