Another day, another batch of games shipped to stores. Instead of giving them all their own posts, we grouped them, and so far there are announcements for:

With Warriors Orochi 2, KOEI reunites its two biggest franchises, Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors for the sequel to its hit Tactical Action game. Jam-packed with 96 playable characters, Warriors Orochi 2 transports gamers to Imperial China and to Feudal Japan where they will do battle against a venomous overlord and his menacing legions.

Warriors Orochi 2 comes with exclusive content for PSP including: new playable characters, new scenarios, and even a Japanese voice option.

Learn more about Warriors Orochi 2 for PSP on the official product minisite at koei.com/wo2psp. Also visit "Warriors Orochi 2 Dedicated" at koei.com/wo2dedicated to download music tracks and over a dozen specially-modified high-resolution movie clips to create your own Warriors Orochi 2 fan video.

Shattering time and space, the venomous Serpent King Orochi kidnapped history's greatest warriors in a scheme to test his might. The heroes eventually defeated Orochi and his menacing army. Now the slain Orochi lies in the netherworld, and a mysterious alliance is hatching a plan to resurrect Orochi.

With four different storylines featuring characters from Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors, Warriors Orochi 2 includes three new game modes: Dream, VS and Survival, as well as "Tag Team"-style matches that pit fighters in head-to-head arena combat.

A star-studded lineup boasts 96 playable characters including the massive boar-like Gyuki and the faceless Dodomeki. New playable characters exclusive to the PSP include the graceful San Zang and the warrior-monk Benkei.

New features exclusive to the PSP also include: 2-Player VS mode plus Co-op play in Story, Free and Dream modes, 12 new scenarios in Dream mode, and a Japanese and English voice option.

Warriors Orochi 2, rated T for Teen, is developed by KOEI Canada and based on an original work by Omega Force. Play is for 1 to 2 players. Multi-player play is via ad-hoc wireless only.

Emergency Room: Real Life Rescues (NDS)

In this new paramedic simulation video game, the player assumes the role of a rookie Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at a busy metropolitan hospital in Harbor City.  The player must work up the ranks by successfully treating a variety of realistic medical emergencies such as cardiac arrests, car accidents, and deadly gunshot wounds. The politics of a financially struggling hospital looking to cut costs at every corner also weighs in on the action-packed game play. What may seem routine can escalate in a heartbeat and the player must be ready for the challenge.

At first, the player is assigned to ambulance duty with a senior paramedic. A brief introduction to the case is given while the player rushes to the patient’s location at the local park, neighborhood diner, etc. As soon as they arrive on the scene, the player assesses the patient’s vital signs and then stabilizes the patient as quickly as possible, using 25 medical tools that are found in actual paramedic ambulances. Each medical tool, e.g., cannula, oxygen mask, and leg splints, uses the Nintendo DS stylus differently on the touch screen to execute the procedure.

Emergency Room: Real Life Rescues includes 30 realistic cases ranging from basic first aid to life-threatening traumas. Initial cases have less serious implications and there are fewer medical steps needed to stabilize the patient.  Later cases are more complex, however, and advanced medical tools such as a defibrillator, bag valve mask and inhalator are “unlocked” in order to successfully treat patients in the field.  After successfully completing the more challenging cases, the player is promoted through the EMT ranks.

The senior paramedic is always ready to give the player a hand if they need help.  The entire medical team of Harbor City wants to put their patients first, but it’s not clear how much longer they can continue to thwart the hospital administrator who is more motivated by profits than ethics.  The intriguing storyline is told between cases, gradually revealing the secret frustrations of the hard working hospital staff.

“Legacy is known for creating high quality RealLife Games and we jumped at the chance to bring our ten years of experience with these types of medical sims to the Nintendo DS™ platform.” says Ariella Lehrer, CEO and president of Legacy Interactive. “The realism and intricate story that is woven into Emergency Room: Real Life Rescueswill appeal to gamers who have an interest in true to life medical drama as well as practicing paramedics.”

Emergency Room: Real Life Rescues has an MSRP of $19.99 and is available at retailers nationwide.
