About Titans of Steel: Warring Suns

Players design their own Titan-AT in the factory area. They can design or reconfigure up to 450 Titan-AT from scratch or use one of the 150 pre-designed Titan-AT.

Each designed Titan-AT has 68 internal systems, electronics systems, 4 armour types, 20 chassis styles, 5 size classes (recon, light, medium, heavy, assault), 32 weapon types ranging from conventional to exotic technology allows you to share your Titan-AT designs with other commanders.

The game contains an excellent tutorial that provides a step-by-step guide to all aspects of play, as players familiarise themselves with managing their Titan-AT squads.

Players compete in 5 arenas with maps with overlaid hexagon grids: terrain, Savannah, Polar, Planet core and Bio Chem. Each terrain type can influence the battles: e.g. playing in the polar arena will cool weapons down allowing for faster rates of fire. The battle area can range 4 map sizes ranging from small to huge. The terrain is deformable i.e. forest will burn down buildings will turn to rubble. An auto move feature allows players to concentrate on fighting and not micromanagement.

The game is based around a series of linked scenarios that form 3 different campaigns set in the Titans of Steel Warring Suns Universe.

Up to 4 players with 32 titans can compete in Hot seat, LAN or Internet games.

Titans of Steel: Warring Suns is more than a combat game. It is designed to be an open-ended role playing system for up to four battle squads using four separate races and pilots of either gender. All pilots have a full statistics sheet and earn experience points which players can use to increase seven attributes and nineteen skills. Each squad can have eight pilots and up to sixteen Titan-ATs.
In the Titans of Steel Universe the main fighting unit is the Titan Attack Tech better know as the Titan-AT. Titan-ATs are generally humanoid in appearance and range from ten to fourteen meters in height and weigh as much as 200 tons. A Titan-AT can have an array of weapons including lasers, auto cannons, missile launchers and other specialty weapons and defensive systems.
