We will update this throughout the day when new announcements become available. Read more for details ...

Making History II: The War of the World (PC)

Making History II: The War of the World (MHII) allows players to experience grand strategy on an epic scale as they take World War II history in their own hands and reshape the destiny of nations. National leaders will contend with competing military, economic and ethnic interests as they fight to fulfill each country’s aspirations. More than simply winning battles, MHII is about exercising diplomacy and waging war. Each turn, players generate income, conduct research, develop the natural resources within their borders, grow their industry and build military forces.  Ultimate success requires smart strategic decisions in combat, but also in the management of the economy and the country’s resources.  Diplomatic choices realistically affect a nation's status and reputation.  The turn-by-turn nature of the game allows players time to plan and judge how each move might affect long-term consequences.

David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games, said “We’re very excited about this 25% discount and even more excited to be working with Muzzy Lane. With future support and great new upcoming features like multiplayer in the works, there’s never been a better time to start rewriting the history books Making History II: The War of the World!”

“We believe Making History II is a great addition to the impressive lineup of strategy games Matrix offers,” says Dave McCool, president and CEO of Muzzy Lane. “We both share a love of the strategy genre, and a commitment to the strategy wargame community.”

To mark the release of Making History II at Matrix Games, the game is being offered at a 25% discount from the regular price of $39.99 for the first week of the release. This means Matrix Games is offering the lowest price available on Making History II: The War of the World so there’s never been a better time to pick the game up!
