THQ to distribute Koei titles

THQ International Ltd, a division of THQ Inc. today announced an exclusive distribution agreement granting THQ rights to distribute games originally published in Japan by Koei Co. Ltd. Under the terms of the agreement, THQ will perform the sales, marketing and distribution of four Koei titles in the UK, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, Italy and other PAL territories.

Encore today announced that the highly anticipated Circus Maximus: Chariot Wars for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft has gone gold. This combat-racing game - which captures the power and excitement of chariot racing during the glory days of ancient Rome - is expected to be on store shelves at leading videogame retailers nationwide by the end of February.
