Included in the Windows Media Video are brief interviews with Level Designer Sarah Boulian, Producer Jake McMahon, and Chris Taylor. 'Soldier Of Fortune II: Double Helix' - Multiplayer Test

Activision, Inc. and Raven Software are giving gamers a chance to test their grit with the announcement of the Soldier Of Fortune II: Double Helix multiplayer compatibility test. The test, which will initially be available exclusively from GameSpy's FilePlanet on April 18, 2002, gives gamers a chance to compete in one map across four different game modes including deathmatch, team deathmatch, elimination and infiltration.

Blood Omen 2 - Update Patch v1.02 Available NOW

Eidos has just announced that they released a new 'Blood Omen 2' patch updating their vampire action adventure game to v1.02. This upgrade only improves the game's stability in addition to all the fixes from the previous patch. The patch weighs in about 2.9mb and a warning about save games not being compatible is given. Get it off the worthplaying server here, or grab it off the eidos server here. (thanks blues)

It reached the Silver ELSPA Award level (for sales of over 100,000 units) within the same week the title was released. Darkfall - Development Status Update

The official Darkfall site has today been updated with Darkfall development status. Darkfall is a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG (MMORPG), and is 100% inhouse developed, using Razorwax unique 3D/client, server and tools technology. Here is a snip from the update:

At the start of Pre-Alpha we had some serious crash bugs, but 99% of all those bugs have been found and fixed. The game has now been up and running for about 3 months without any server crashes, and we have had about 20 testers helping us out (thanks a lot guys!).

YooMedia Signs Excusive Licence With Tetris

20,000 Accounts Banned

The team let us know that over 20,000 accounts have been banned. All of these accounts were associated with 8,500 accounts using the "Chest Hack" that appeared in the user community over the past week. In addition to this hack's effects on the player economy, its use directly affected the stability of Diablo II realms, causing a number of dramatic performance issues. This is in keeping with their commitment to provide the highest possible level of quality for their legitimate users.
