'LEGO Universe' Revealed

In early March, Netdevil announced it was developing a LEGO MMO based on everybody's favorite childhood toy. A Danish article reveals the first details about LEGO Universe, scheduled to launch mid-2008. The new LEGO Universe will combine gaming, building and the opportunity for social networking on the very same web page. The game is being developed in close cooperation with fans, who are testing every idea, and "LEGO Group want to offer the unique experience to play with LEGO bricks both virtually and physically together with your friends from all over the world, and you can even change from the physically to the virtual play as you like – You are in control."

'Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines' - v3.6 Update Patch Available NOW

This update brings Activision's Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines retail game to v3.6 (requires v1.2 patch installed) and addresses a number of known issues, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and so forth.

FlatOut: Total Carnage is a re-imagining of FlatOut 2 rebuilt from the ground up and specifically developed to make use of the additional feature sets and improved processing ability of third generation technologies. According to an updated ESRB listing it might very well be, as it previously only listed Xbox 360, and now also PC.

'Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar' Gets v1.6 Patch

Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar adds a gripping new single-player campaign sees the elimination of two of the game’s alien races and the introduction of several others. Availale through the in-game autoupdater, the v1.6 patch adds a full-blown 3D engine upgrade resulting in a 10X graphics performance improvement, as well as dozens of new features.

'Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2' - Multiplayer Demo Coming June 7

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 will feature changing climate, improved AI, an advanced Cross-Com system, air strikes from jet fighters, new weapons and a new soldier class, the Medic. Ubisoft will release a multiplayer demo next week Friday, June 7, 2007, featuring the PC exclusive Calavera map, playable in the Recon vs. Assault mode. We will of course have it on fileserver network, so stay tuned!

Activision Financial Report Reveals Release Details

Activision released its fiscal year 2007 results revealing profits. Net revenue was up compared to last year, but although Q4 2007 sales and revenue doubled, they still turned a net loss of $14.4M. The conference call was more interesting, with Activision confirming Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Guitar Hero Rocks The 80s scheduled for July-Sept., while Call of Duty 4, a new Marvel title (probably Spider-Man: Friend or Foe), Guitar Hero III, Tony Hawk, and Bee Movie are all due later this fall. The next James Bond title is a ways off in 2008, along with other new IPs.
