Take 2's Preliminary 2005 Results Reveal Delays and New Titles

Take 2 today announced preliminary net sales of $1.2 billion for its 2005 fiscal year and Q4 net sales of $308 million. The results reveal that College Hoops 2K6 and Top Spin 2 have been pushed back from Q1 to Q2 2006 to provide additional time for development. A few new games were also introduced, including the port of GTA: Liberty City Stories to a current-gen console (most likely the PS2), and two new titles for the PSP, including an all-new GTA offering.

VU Games today announced that it has completed the purchase of independent developer, High Moon Studios. VU Games will retain High Moon's team of more than 100 development professionals, as well as rights to the studio's intellectual properties.
