EA today announced The Sims 2 Holiday Edition, a special-edition holiday-themed version of The Sims 2 which includes 40 new holiday-themed items. People who already own The Sims 2 will get the opportunity to simply purchase the new items with The Sims 2 Holiday Party Pack.
