Free Realms is a free whimsical fantasy massively multiplayer RPG from Sony Online offering lighthearted adventuring, aimed primarily at casual female gamers, and optional bonus content via micro transactions. During his keynote speech at GDC Austin, SOE president John Smedley revealed that Free Realms now has 5 million subscribers, and that the PS3 version is tentatively scheduled for mid 2010, and that the developers are looking into implementing EyeToy support.
