'Battlefield 3' Development Confirmed

While it wasn't exactly a super secret, EA has yet to officially announce that DICE is working on the next installment in the Battlefield franchise. Apart from the upcoming Bad Company 2, most titles the Swedish studio has been working on were console iterations, but at a recent conference, EA's COO John Pleasants confirmed Battlefield 3, saying that he "was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product." Don't get your hopes up just yet; it isn't due for quite a while.
