MGS4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a war-torn future where huge conglomerates, including those in the Middle East and South America, fight for supremacy using armies of hand-picked mercenaries. While the actual beta has been available for download for a few days, it seems server issues have delayed the actual start "until further notice," but at the same time extending the test period with a few extra days. UPDATE: Konami announced that the beta will now commence on April 25 at 11:00 PM PST.
