High Impact Games is working on a new installment in the Ratchet & Clank series, but this time Clank is going solo. As it has not yet officially been announced details are thin, but in Secret Agent Clank, Ratchet has been imprisoned and you have to clear his name by going all James Bond spy-like.

Based on a leaked PDF of an investor report, Digital Battle has revealed what could be the first info on Battlefield 3, scheduled for late 2008. Set in modern times, BF3 will feature NATO vs. MEC, each side having access to different vehicles (24) and weapons (17), as well as plenty of unlockables, including an additional 22 weapons. Powered by an updated FrostBite engine, BF3 will have 5 playable classes (Sniper, Assault, Engineer, Medic and Support), 8 maps, supporting up to 40 players per team. Officially the game is supposed to be announced January, with a possible open beta planned for summer 2008.

A game of tactics, combat-heavy action, and decision making, Space Siege is an all-new science fiction themed action-RPG. At your disposal will be futuristic weapons and armor, cybernetic upgrades and a robotic partner that you can customize and command.

Foundation 9 announced that it is combining its two Southern California studios, The Collective and Shiny Entertainment, into one larger entity, enabling it to create large-scale games based on big licensed properties.

Nintendo will be showing a huge lineup of cool games for both Wii and NDS at the E for All Expo in Los Angeles, California, including Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
